Privacy Policy

In short. We collect only what we need to run your account and saves. We do not sell your information. It is stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland). You can ask us for a copy or to delete it.

1. Who is responsible

Gentlemen's Estate, operated by Tristan Trickett, an individual in South Africa with no company registration, is responsible for your information. Contact: gentlemensestate@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account: email address, password (stored hashed, we cannot see it), and date of birth.
  • Game: your saved games, settings (including whether you opted in to 18+ content) and paid-access status.
  • Technical: login session details such as IP address and browser type, and basic server logs.
  • Emails you send us.

We use these to run your account, check your age, keep your saves, match your Patreon access, keep the service secure, and reply to you. We do not sell your information and we do not run advertising.

3. Where it is kept and who helps us

  • Supabase hosts our database, login and saves, in the EU (Ireland).
  • Patreon handles payments. It is a separate company with its own privacy policy, and we receive only what we need to match your payment to your account.
  • Our website is served through a hosting provider, and Gmail is used for support email.

We run the game from South Africa, so your information is accessed from there. We may share information if the law requires it.

4. Cookies

We use only essential login and session cookies (and similar browser storage) set by Supabase auth, to keep you signed in. The game also keeps your settings and a copy of your save in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

5. Age and young players

You must be 13 or older. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and refuse anyone under 13. If we learn we hold information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Under-18s have romance, paid companionship and gambling locked. See our Terms.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and saves. Provider backups and logs are cleared on the provider's own schedule.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and each player can only read their own records. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

8. Your rights (POPIA and GDPR)

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email gentlemensestate@gmail.com from your account email so we know it is you. We aim to reply within one month, free of charge.

  • South Africa (POPIA): you may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
  • EU / UK (GDPR): you may complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.
